Music supports our worship at our 10 am service through organ and choir.
Our choir is a small, but dedicated group of volunteers who offer their gifts each week to help support congregational singing as well as offer their own talents in a weekly choir anthem. They welcome anyone who wishes to join, and invite you to practice with them each Sunday at 9 am. (They take the summer off as a group, but many individuals offer to provide special music for a service during that time.)
We have one of the finest organs in New Hampshire - a Cassavant Tracker. And we also have one of the finest organists, Nancy Farris. She provides music before, during and after our worship that helps lift our souls. Nancy also directs our choir.
The annual Bach Festival, traditionally held the weekend before Labor Day but this summer becoming a two weekend event, began in 1989 as a ministry of our parish, although it has since expanded beyond our doors and is now a full community venture, under the guidance of White Mountain Musical Arts. We continue to host the opening Organ Recital, this summer (2009) to be held on August 23.
